Store Experience & Conversion AI

Rep AI

Rep AI is an ecommerce AI shopping assistant and support suite that guides shoppers, resolves service requests, and hands exceptions to human agents across connected channels. One shared store context can support storefront sales and service, connected messaging channels, a human-agent workspace, customer-conversation analysis, and eligible visual shopping journeys. Each product still has its own workflow and operating boundary.

Buying view: Rep AI is best suited to a store that wants one AI context across guided selling and support, then needs controlled extensions for messaging, human tickets, research, or try-on. The buying decision should start with the Sales/Support core because every additional path depends on an active core plan, and the two newest Concierge add-ons should be evaluated as separate products rather than assumed inclusions.

Capabilities

Rep AI covers three connected parts of ecommerce work. Its shared conversation system can detect buying intent, guide product choices, answer service questions across enabled channels, perform supported order actions, and turn unresolved work into a ticket with context for a human agent. Virtual Try-On adds an optional visual path to eligible product conversations, while Deep Research turns retained conversations into topic analysis or a scoped Ask AI report; store knowledge, instructions, eligibility settings, and human review define what each route can complete.

Primary workflow

AI Sales Agent + AI Support Agent + AI Helpdesk: primary sales and support workflow

When you would use it

A shopper may need help choosing a product before checkout or resolving an order issue afterward. The same person may contact the store through its website, email, a social message, or WhatsApp, so the team needs one path that preserves the conversation when the request changes or a person takes over.

How the workflow runs

Rep AI routes the current request to guided buying or support. AI Sales Agent helps the shopper narrow the choice and proceed to the cart; AI Support Agent uses approved store and order context to answer or perform a supported action. If a person is needed, the conversation can continue as a ticket in AI Helpdesk or a connected helpdesk without asking the shopper to repeat the story.

How Rep AI handles a buying or service conversation

A shopper starts on the website or an enabled messaging channel. Rep AI sends buying questions to AI Sales Agent and service requests to AI Support Agent. A routine support request can end with an AI answer or supported action; a request that needs a person can become a contextual ticket in AI Helpdesk, or move to a connected helpdesk such as Gorgias or Zendesk. Conversation outcomes return to the shared history for the team to review.

The dashed boundaries show which product owns a sequence of steps. AI for Email, Social & WhatsApp is the optional channel entry, while AI Helpdesk is a separately enabled destination for human work; neither is included merely because it appears in the same workflow.

The work at each stage

1. A shopper asks for help

The conversation starts on the website or an enabled external channel. A shopper can ask directly, while AI Sales Agent may also engage at a configured moment when storefront behavior shows buying interest or hesitation.

2. Buying questions become guided choices

AI Sales Agent uses catalog context to ask narrowing questions, compare suitable options, address objections, and support an in-chat cart action. Merchandising rules still control what it should recommend or avoid.

3. Service requests are answered or acted on

AI Support Agent uses approved help content, policies, catalog data, and connected order context. It can answer a routine question when the approved content provides the answer; a documented order action also requires the necessary connected data and configured permission.

4. A person receives the conversation when needed

An unresolved, unsupported, or policy-controlled request leaves the AI-only route. AI Helpdesk can create and route a contextual ticket, while a connected helpdesk such as Gorgias or Zendesk can receive the shopper details and conversation history for follow-up.

What the operator needs to do

Connect the relevant store, knowledge, order, channel, and helpdesk sources; set engagement, recommendation, permission, and routing rules; then review unresolved conversations and outcomes to correct stale content or instructions. AI Helpdesk and external-channel products are separate choices, so include only the paths the store actually enables.

Primary workflow

Virtual Try-On extension: primary workflow

When you would use it

For supported clothing, footwear, and accessories, specifications and product photos may still leave a shopper unsure how an item could look on them. Virtual Try-On adds a visual step inside the shopping conversation when the merchant has enabled the product and the shopper wants to try it.

How the workflow runs

The shopper selects Try it on and uploads a suitable photo in chat. If the product and image meet the documented requirements, Rep AI returns a generated visualization, after which the shopper can explore another color or variant and use the in-chat Add to Cart action. Unsupported products return to ordinary guidance, while an unsuitable photo prompts the shopper to provide a better one.

Virtual Try-On inside the shopping conversation

A shopper opens an eligible product, uses the Try it on prompt, and uploads a photo in chat. When the product and image meet the documented requirements, Rep AI generates a temporary try-on image, after which the shopper can explore another variant or use the in-chat Add to Cart action. If the input cannot be used, the agent asks for a better photo or returns to ordinary product guidance.

The merchant enables this route from Sales Skills and configures its supported scope. It is an optional visual-sales experience, not a required step in every Sales Agent conversation.

The work at each stage

1. Enter try-on from an eligible product

The merchant first enables the feature for supported products. The shopper sees the Try it on prompt in the product conversation and chooses whether to start; this is an optional shopping path.

2. Upload a photo and check the result

The shopper supplies a photo through chat. Rep AI checks whether the product and image can be used, generates the visualization when they qualify, or asks for a better input instead of forcing an unsupported result.

3. Continue choosing or add to cart

After viewing the image, the shopper can ask for another color or variant and continue toward the cart. If try-on is unavailable, the conversation returns to the normal product-guidance route.

What the operator needs to do

Enable Virtual Try-On only for supported products and prepare suitable product imagery. Test the prompt and fallback route before launch, and explain the generated image as a visual decision aid rather than a guarantee of exact fit or real-world appearance.

Primary workflow

Deep Research extension: primary workflow

When you would use it

As conversation volume grows, repeated objections, product requests, policy gaps, and customer sentiment become difficult to find by reading transcripts one at a time. An ecommerce operator may need either a broad view of recurring topics or an answer to a specific question about a defined set of conversations.

How the workflow runs

Deep Research processes the available conversation history into one analysis set. The operator can browse topic counts and trends and open the supporting conversations, or use Ask AI to investigate a topic, time range, or filtered set. Ask AI shows the number of conversations and credit cost before it runs; either route ends with evidence that the team still needs to review before changing store content, policies, or support instructions.

Two research routes from the same conversation corpus

Deep Research first processes recent conversation history and then adds new conversations each day. An operator chooses a topic, time range, or filtered set, then either compares topic counts and trends with the supporting conversations or asks Ask AI a focused question. Ask AI checks the research-credit balance before scanning the selected set, saves the report, and supports follow-up or export; both routes leave the final operating decision with the team.

Ask AI can also start from another Rep AI screen that already defines a filtered conversation set. If credits are insufficient, the job does not run until the scope is narrowed or credits refresh.

The work at each stage

When you do not yet know where the problem is

Browse AI-discovered or merchant-defined topics, compare their counts and trends, and open the conversations behind a pattern. This route helps identify which issue or opportunity deserves closer investigation.

When you already have a specific question

Choose a topic, date range, or filtered conversation set and use Ask AI to pose a focused question. Confirm the displayed scope and credit cost; if the balance is insufficient, narrow the set or wait for the monthly refresh before running it.

Turn the finding into a decision

Review the summary, key findings, and source conversations before acting. The report can point to a repeated issue, but it does not prove the cause or change the storefront, policy, or support response on its own.

What the operator needs to do

Start with a business question and select only the conversations relevant to it. For example, repeated shipping questions can prompt a review of product-page delivery information, but the team should inspect the underlying conversations and test the proposed change before treating unclear delivery copy as the cause.

Monthly equivalent before tax. Annual billing changes the price of the core plan and the percentage-based Concierge add-ons; channel usage remains a monthly line item. Helpdesk ticket-tier and overage figures are anonymous community-shared estimates, while $20 per agent is visible on the official page. One 25K Support annual value conflicts with the page's stated discount and is flagged in the result. Verify the final order with Rep AI. Check the current Rep AI pricing page.

Published values are estimates that exclude tax and do not account for contract terms. The current public source has a 25K Support annual-price conflict; this page preserves and flags that value instead of silently correcting it.

Frequently asked questions

Are Hellorep, Hellorep AI, and Rep AI the same product?

Yes. Rep AI is the product name used on the official website at hellorep.ai. Searches for Hellorep or Hellorep AI generally refer to the same ecommerce AI shopping assistant and support platform reviewed on this page.

How many of Rep AI's current products are represented here?

Six: AI Sales Agent, AI Support Agent, AI for Email, Social & WhatsApp, AI Helpdesk, Deep Research, and Virtual Try-On. AI Concierge is the published bundle of Sales Agent plus Support Agent, so it is a buying option rather than a seventh product. The five communication channels are selectable surfaces inside one omnichannel product, not separate product lines.

How do AI Sales Agent, AI for Email, Social & WhatsApp, AI Support Agent, and AI Helpdesk work together?

Website and enabled-channel conversations can use the same store knowledge, catalog, order context, instructions, and history. The customer's need determines whether Rep AI handles guided selling or support; a support case can be resolved by AI or, when AI Helpdesk is separately enabled, become a contextual ticket for a human agent. Conversation and ticket signals remain available for team review and later instruction changes.

Can AI Sales Agent and AI Support Agent share one plan?

Yes. Either can be selected alone at an eligible website-session tier; selecting both uses the published AI Concierge plan and price. Support alone and Concierge begin at 10K sessions, while Sales alone also has a 3K tier.

How is AI for Email, Social & WhatsApp priced?

Choose any combination of Email, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp, then enter a separate monthly AI-resolved conversation volume for each selected channel. The public rate is $0.75 per AI-resolved conversation; custom pricing applies when total monthly conversations reach 10,000 or more. An active Sales, Support, or Concierge plan is required.

How are AI Helpdesk, Deep Research, and Virtual Try-On added?

AI Helpdesk requires a paid Sales, Support, or Concierge plan. A publicly accessible Rep AI page lists a price of $20 per human agent each month; the ticket-tier and overage figures in this planner come from an anonymous community share and should be confirmed with Rep AI. Deep Research and Virtual Try-On each require AI Concierge and each adds 10% of the selected Concierge monthly-equivalent price.
