Community guidelines

These guidelines cover the profiles, Tools, Skills, articles, comments, ratings, collections, reports, ownership claims, links, and uploads that people can contribute to EcomAgentTools.

Who these guidelines cover

These guidelines apply to public profiles, resource submissions, blog posts, comments, ratings, collections, reports, ownership claims, reviewer applications, and other community contributions on EcomAgentTools.

Using a Google account does not make a contribution trustworthy by itself. Contributors, reviewers, owners, and administrators must follow the same rules about evidence, privacy, manipulation, and respectful conduct.

Submit resources people can verify

Tool and Skill submissions should identify the official or primary source, explain the ecommerce use case in plain language, and avoid filling unknown fields with guesses. Submitted URLs must be public and safe for automated retrieval.

Do not submit duplicates to gain visibility. When a resource already exists, report a correction or request management rights instead. Prompt records are currently maintained through the editorial workflow rather than ordinary user submissions.

Write useful reviews and ratings

Explain what task you performed, what you connected or configured, what happened, and which limits affected the result. Distinguish your own use from facts learned through documentation or another source.

Choose rating values that match the written review. Avoid one-line promotion, unexplained praise or attacks, copied reviews, and claims presented as hands-on results when no test took place.

Disclose relationships and self-promotion

State clearly when you work for, maintain, sell, advise, or receive compensation from a listed product. A disclosed relationship does not automatically disqualify a contribution, but hiding it can lead to removal.

Do not coordinate ratings, exchange rewards for reviews, create multiple accounts to influence a result, or submit promotional copy as independent analysis. Management rights do not include control over community reviews or editorial scores.

Respect authorship and ownership

Do not claim to be an author, developer, maintainer, provider, company representative, reviewer, or owner without evidence. A source page that mentions someone is not enough to assign authorship to a Prompt or Skill.

Use designated ownership or management claims when you represent a product. Do not copy paid material, private documentation, images without permission, or another person’s writing and present it as your own.

Protect store, customer, and account data

Never post passwords, API keys, access tokens, payment data, private customer records, order details, confidential analytics, or internal company documents. EcomAgentTools does not need this information to review a resource or comment.

Use a small, low-risk example when describing a workflow. Remove names, email addresses, order numbers, store identifiers, and other personal or confidential information from text and screenshots before uploading them.

Use editors, links, and uploads safely

Most profile, review, and resource fields are plain text. Blog and collection editors may render the supported Markdown controls. Do not add raw HTML, scripts, tracking code, hidden links, deceptive redirects, malware, or files unrelated to the contribution.

External links belong only in designated URL fields or supported Markdown links. Uploaded logos and screenshots must be relevant, safe, and content you are allowed to use.

No manipulation or review bypass

Do not manipulate views, install or copy events, favorites, ratings, comments, rankings, or review queues. Do not bypass sign-in, Turnstile, rate limits, submission locks, moderation, or approval steps.

Do not harass contributors, reveal personal information, threaten reviewers, or use repeated reports to pressure a decision. Disagreement is allowed; abuse and attempts to override the evidence process are not.

Moderation, reports, and records

EcomAgentTools may request changes, reject, archive, restore, merge, unpublish, or remove content and may restrict accounts when these rules are broken. Moderators can review the rating, target resource, contributor, and status of a community comment.

A report should name the page, exact content, and supporting evidence. Reports start a review but do not guarantee removal or a particular outcome. We may retain moderation and audit records even when public content is removed.

Related policies and next steps

Continue with the account, data, content-review and community-contribution rules. If you find an error, report it from the relevant resource page and identify the exact statement that needs review.
