Product Content & Copy AI
Amazon A+ Content
Amazon A+ Content is Seller Central’s tool for adding branded rich content to Amazon product detail pages. The work happens in A+ Content Manager, where a seller chooses a content type and modules, then can use AI Ready fields for selected text or image drafts. A+ Content is free for eligible sellers, but Amazon requires a Professional selling account and its published role or catalog eligibility.

Buying view: Choose A+ Content when the main job is to add richer branded storytelling, visual modules, comparison content, or video to an eligible Amazon product page. It is not the basic listing editor and it is not a generic design subscription: account eligibility, brand-owned ASINs, and the final Amazon review path determine whether the work can go live.
Capabilities
Amazon’s public page calls the product A+ Content, while the Seller Central workspace is A+ Content Manager. This distinction matters: A+ Content is the customer-facing rich-content capability, and the Manager is where the seller builds and submits it. AI Ready is an optional capability within selected modules, not a separate product or a replacement for the core A+ Content workflow.
What problem it addresses
Standard listing fields may be enough to describe an item, but they do not always show a brand story, product comparison, visual demonstration, or deeper feature explanation. Eligible sellers need a structured way to add that richer information to the product page while keeping the work tied to the correct ASIN and Amazon’s approval process.
How people use it
A seller starts in Advertising → A+ Content Manager, selects Start creating A+ Content, chooses a content type, and adds a module. The seller fills the module, optionally uses fields marked AI Ready, applies the content to selected brand-owned ASINs, then uses Review & submit. Approved content appears on the selected product detail pages in the chosen language.
This is the primary seller workflow for A+ Content, read from left to right. The published account and brand or catalog eligibility are conditions before the seller starts. The seller then opens A+ Content Manager, builds and applies rich content to selected brand-owned ASINs, and submits it for review. Amazon reviews the submission; content appears on the product detail page only after approval. AI Ready is optional help while creating content, not a required step.
What each module does and its role
A+ Content Manager
A+ Content Manager is the Seller Central workspace for creating and maintaining A+ Content. A seller opens it from Advertising, starts a new content item or edits an existing one, chooses a content type, and adds modules. It is the work surface, while A+ Content is Amazon’s public product name for the rich-content capability that reaches product pages.
Rich content modules
Amazon describes A+ Content modules as a way to add enhanced images, customized text placements, videos, shoppable comparison charts, and other brand and product material to a detail page. The module choice should follow what a shopper needs to understand: a feature explanation, a comparison, a demonstration, or the relationship between products. More modules do not replace accurate core listing information.
AI Ready text and image fields
Only modules carrying the AI Ready badge expose the documented AI-generation path. The seller selects the particular text or image fields to enhance, then can use selected category insights or their own prompt to guide generation. This produces material for the chosen module; it does not automatically build every A+ section or approve it for use.
Apply content to brand-owned ASINs
After the content item is ready, the seller selects Apply ASINs and chooses the products that should receive it. Amazon’s published workflow states that A+ Content can only be applied to brand-owned ASINs. This step connects a reusable content item to the actual product pages, so the team should confirm the ASIN ownership and target market before submission.
Review, submit, and status tracking
The seller selects Review & submit after applying content to the chosen ASINs. Amazon states that approved A+ Content then appears on the relevant detail pages in the chosen language, and the seller can check its status in A+ Content Manager. The final review is where the team checks the accuracy of product claims, the rights to assets, and whether AI-generated wording still matches the brand and product.
Commercial plans
Amazon publishes two related but different price facts. A+ Content itself is free for sellers who meet the eligibility requirements; separately, Amazon requires a Professional selling account and publishes its $39.99/month seller-plan fee plus selling fees. The table keeps the free A+ Content entitlement separate from the account cost, and it does not invent a standalone price for AI Ready module features.
A+ Content access and seller-account cost
| Product or sales surface | Scope | Public price and status |
|---|---|---|
| A+ Content | Amazon’s A+ Content FAQ says the product is free for sellers who meet its eligibility requirements. This is the price of the content capability itself. | Free for eligible sellers |
| Professional selling account | Amazon requires a Professional selling account for A+ Content. It is a Seller Central account cost and not a separately stated charge for A+ Content or AI Ready generation. | $39.99/monthSelling and referral fees also apply |
AI Ready module price boundary
| Product or sales surface | Scope | Public price and status |
|---|---|---|
| AI Ready text and image generation | Amazon documents AI Ready fields inside selected A+ modules but does not publish a separate subscription, credit, or per-generation price for them. | Standalone public price: not published |

| Adobe Firefly | Adobe Firefly is a creative-generation suite that can help a team create source visual assets. A+ Content is the Amazon-native publishing surface that places approved brand modules on eligible product detail pages, so a team may use both rather than treat them as identical substitutes. | Third-party subscription; check current official pricing |

Frequently asked questions
Is A+ Content Manager a separate product from Amazon A+ Content?
No. Amazon’s public product page names the capability A+ Content. A+ Content Manager is the Seller Central workspace where the seller creates, edits, submits, and checks the status of that content. The directory page uses A+ Content as the product name and explains the Manager as the work surface.
Does A+ Content require a brand-owned ASIN?
Amazon’s published workflow says A+ Content can be applied only to brand-owned ASINs. The seller selects the eligible ASINs at the Apply ASINs step, then submits the content for review. The team should confirm ASIN ownership, target market, and the required account eligibility before creating a content item.
Is the $39.99 Professional plan the price of A+ Content or AI Ready?
No. Amazon says A+ Content is free for eligible sellers and separately lists the Professional seller-account fee at $39.99/month plus selling fees. The public materials used here do not state a separate price for A+ Content beyond eligibility, or a separate AI Ready usage fee.
