Buying view: It is built around the commerce ratings-and-reviews workflow rather than general survey analysis. Review authenticity, moderation, collection permissions, syndication, and content display require clear brand governance.
PowerReviews features and workflows
PowerReviews helps brands and retailers request ratings, reviews, questions, photos, and videos, apply moderation and authenticity controls, publish approved content, and syndicate eligible reviews across a retail network. Its biggest advantage is distribution between brands and major retailers: one review program can collect customer evidence and extend approved content beyond the brand's own product page.
PowerReviews use cases
Brands and retailers need to collect, moderate, display, and syndicate ratings, reviews, and customer media at commerce scale.
How PowerReviews works
Ratings and review collection. User-generated content for product experiences. Commerce-oriented review workflow.
The merchant receives native or syndicated reviews in the PowerReviews Portal and inspects moderation observations and review status. Approved content becomes visible on the next content refresh. Site Status provides a separate control for the merchant’s own site, allowing appropriate corrections without treating moderation approval as immediate page publication.
Unpublishing on the native site does not withdraw copies already syndicated downstream. Site-status overrides should follow the documented reasons; the diagram does not promise a fixed moderation time or allow negative sentiment alone to justify hiding a review.
In the PowerReviews Q&A tool, the merchant or subject-matter expert opens a question card, writes an answer and can add supported media before submitting. The submitted merchant answer appears on the site and in the tool, where the merchant can later edit or delete it.
Merchant expert answers do not pass through PowerReviews’ review-moderation route. This diagram covers the merchant-answer path, not every shopper-submitted question or answer type, so it does not add a fictitious review-approval queue before the merchant’s response.

PowerReviews ecommerce integrationsPowerReviews FAQs
PowerReviews FAQs address “What is PowerReviews used for?” and “How much does PowerReviews cost?”.
What is PowerReviews used for?
PowerReviews helps brands and retailers collect ratings, written reviews, questions, answers and other user-generated content, then display or syndicate that content across eligible commerce destinations. Teams also use its analytics to monitor coverage and shopper feedback.
How much does PowerReviews cost?
PowerReviews uses sales-led pricing and does not publish a complete self-service plan table. A quote can depend on products, catalog scale, review volume, syndication and services, so buyers should ask for an itemized proposal and renewal terms.
Does PowerReviews integrate with Shopify?
Yes. PowerReviews documents Shopify and Shopify Plus support for collecting and displaying ratings, reviews and Q&A. It also lists Adobe Commerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud among its supported ecommerce platforms.
How does PowerReviews collect and syndicate reviews?
A brand can request reviews after purchase, moderate submitted content and publish it on its own product pages. Eligible content can also be shared through the PowerReviews network, subject to retailer, brand and catalog-matching rules.
PowerReviews vs Yotpo: which is a better fit?
PowerReviews is often evaluated for enterprise review collection, retail syndication and product Q&A. Yotpo combines reviews with a broader ecommerce retention portfolio and publishes entry-level review plans. Compare the retailers in each syndication network, implementation support and total quote at your order volume.
PowerReviews vs Bazaarvoice: what should buyers compare?
Both serve brands and retailers that need review collection and syndication. Buyers should compare destination coverage, product-catalog matching, moderation services, reporting, implementation responsibilities and contract terms for their actual markets.
Can PowerReviews manage product questions and answers?
Yes. PowerReviews supports product Q&A alongside ratings and reviews, so shoppers can ask purchase questions and brands or approved community members can answer. Teams still need moderation and response ownership rules before publishing answers.
Does unpublishing a PowerReviews review remove it from every retailer site?
Unpublishing a review on the brand's own site does not automatically withdraw copies already syndicated to other destinations. Local display controls and network distribution are separate. A team needing removal elsewhere must follow the applicable destination and syndication process.
